It can take years to write a story, several more to sell it, and then several more for it to be published. And once it is published, there’s sadly no guarantee the story will find its readers. So if you’re writing stories, you better make sure you’re writing stories that you enjoy.

I also know that I'm getting better when I finally am writing again 😊 (Especially when I'm writing romance again!) I did have time before, but I just could not find the energy to.

I am slowly finding renewed passion and enthusiasm for things, especially teaching, which was part of my frustration last year, I now realize. Teaching had always been fulfilling for me, but last year, since I was given a more supervisory position, it took away some of that joy I once had.

My mom is watching the Philippine adaptation of "It's Okay To Not Be Okay", and I'm also liking it so far, which is surprising because I DNF-ed the original. Actually, and this may be an unpopular opinion, I think I actually like Anne Curtis' portrayal of the main female character better 😅

Once again I tend to over-research, and this is just creative nonfiction I'm writing😅 But I guess all the more important to get my facts right. (I also do this when writing fiction.)

Whenever I get hit by impostor syndrome while I'm writing an entry for this contest, I think of this one essay that was filled with so much purple prose and yet still won a place. If they can dare to submit something, so can I.

The wifi in my unit is not working again, so instead of streaming something I listened to an audio series, "Case 63", now on season 2. I loved the first season (that was way back in 2022, how time flies), and so far this season is still as intriguing as ever.

Okay, so things do not look as bleak as they did a couple of days ago, so I have bounced back and am (relatively) okay again, hehe. Also, I am now further fueled by spite, so I have extra motivation. Let's do this!
