It’s been hot hot hot in Adelaide and finally we have a reprieve. Helen captured this guy trying to cop a bit of breeze.

Emus active across the road along with mobs of Kangaroos. Plenty of rain last five days, more to come. Black cockatoos went over today. Pardalotes nesting. Johnny jump ups are flowering between the lettuces.

Okay people, too much crazy world stuff going on. I’m staying focused on the back garden. No crazy politics with the blue wrens and lorikeets to report. Currawongs are nesting and kookaburras have returned to forage out front and use the bird bath. Plenty of other birds just chilling.
