Tim Raines has surprisingly few good action photos on his baseball cards, particularly given what a dynamic and athletic player he was. One of my favorites is actually his 1988 Topps Big card, shown below. My favorite Raines stat: in 1985 and 1986, he was 70/79 (88.6%) in stolen bases—BOTH years!

My personal card philosophy...4x a year you go big. Big is relative to your budget and comfort zone. You get a birthday, Xmas, National(even if you don't attend) and a Treat Yo Self card which can be used any time. From my couch, this RC was my National pick up for example.

Vintage is awesome. Retro vintage adds another level. Make it sparkly, and you get a banger! #cardsky #goingthroughboxes
