Been a year since I’ve purchased a T206 HOFer for my build, I was overdue😁. Couldn’t pass up a cheap price on a slabbed HOFer. This is card #120 for the set. It will not be my final HOFer of the year. The coming weeks will have a lot of PC additions and a 1936 HOF inductee😏🐻‍❄️

Not too often is a raw card of a HOF RC an upgrade over a PSA 3 RC, but my pickup at a show today was one of those instances. Some guy scribbled on it though, but it goes along with some of the other Kaline’s I’ve got that were scribbled on as well😁 #cardSky

Thanksgiving arrived a little late this year. I’ve loved this image since I started building the Tigers T206 team set and decided to do a side project and get other versions of this image. Had to get the Turkeys of Wild Bill and Rube together, along with the other throwing images so far. 😁 #cardsky

Had a few envelopes in the mail the last week and a half, and everything’s here now. Another 8 to the T206 set build. And because I’ll buy before checking my list and will also grab cheap deals even if it’s a duplicate, I’m at 119 instead of 120. Mr. Downs is a duplicate 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 #cardsky

Last week, an unexpected item that’s been on the want list for a while, appeared. This one is hard to find in the type of condition that fits my budget. So happy to add this awesome M116 Sporting Life to the collection of my favorite pre-war oddball Rube Waddell. #cardsky

A cool T206 mailday.I’m doing this low grade & wouldn’t normally pick up a single duplicate, especially if it’s rougher(I looked at my list wrong and thought I didn’t have him 😂). But when the card on the right popped up for cheap, I had to grab a new back! #cardsky

It’s been awhile since I’ve picked up a T206 for the build and I’m really happy with this one. It’s got character like most of the others I’ve got but when a super cheap Southern Leaguer pops up on eBay, you have to hit BIN. Happy to add my second Southern Leaguer to the build. #cardsky

Today’s mailday brings me my third Venezuelan Topps Al Kaline card with this 1967 Topps. I didn’t plan on my T206 pickups taking a break but I couldn’t pass up some of these recent giveaways of these rarer cards😂. Happy to pick away at the Venny Kaline run. #cardsky

Today’s mailday from @prewarcards.bsky.social brings me my first E102 in Wild Bill Donovan. I set a goal of trying to pick up a few pre-war cards this year that weren’t T206. This card was perfect as it’s a Tiger but also uses my favorite T206 image. Happy to have it. #cardSky

Two more T206’s were finally released from the couple week stranglehold of the post office😂. One of the coolest types of portraits in the set are the sweaters and the Doyle is a great one. Up to 102 now. #cardsky

Today is a milestone mailday on my T206 build. Not only have I gotten my first two Sovereign backs but these three cards put me at 100 cards on the setbuild. When I decided to attempt this build, I couldn’t imagine having this many cards already. #vintage #setbuilder #cardSky

Should have a few more T206 maildays over the next couple days but today brings me two more low grade commons. #96 & #97 on the build. Can’t believe I’m closing in on 100 T206’s. Nothing crazy arriving for card #100 but I will have a new back crossed off the list. #cardSky

My card show ventures usually result in Riley Greene cards for my daughter. But today I actually found stuff for myself. Picked up five more T206’s for the set build, bringing me up to 95 cards. A long way still to 520. I also purchased a signed 71 Topps card of Mr Tiger Al Kaline. #cardsky

Today’s mailday brings me seven more T206’s from @wiredtiger.bsky.social. He’s been a big help in finding some of the most budget friendly cards for my T206 build. This brings me to 90 cards on the set and brings me another Polar Bear as well. #cardSky

The second day of the new year, brings me my first mailday of the year. I received the No Trees Chief Bender today. This card completes the Chief Bender run of cards in the T206 set. Card #83 on the set build. Long way to go to 520….. #vintage #cardSky
