Been a little bit since my last T206 adds. Today brings a Facebook group auction win of 4 low grade cards. The Paddy is a duplicate but the prize of the lot isn’t a T206. It’s an E90-1 Caramel card of Tigers HOF manager Hughie Jennings. Happy to check off a non-T206 prewar HOFer. #cardsky

Big day for the Kaline collection. Wasn’t expecting to land this card yet but it came up for the right price and I had to get it. Just need the 64 Tigers Team card and the 64 AL Batting card to complete the Venezuela Topps Kaline run. #cardsky

11 down, 3 Venny’s to go. Today’s mail brings me two more Al Kaline Venezuela Topps cards, one of which has 3 HOFers. The only Kaline Venny’s left are 3 cards from 1964. 64 Tigers Team card, 64 AL Batting and the toughest and most expensive AL Bombers with that pesky Mantle guy😭 #cardsky

Awesome T206 mailday today. Added 3 more Southern Leaguers to the set build and an Old Mill Brain as well. Then we’ve got a nice Hooker from the South that @lolbrarian.bsky.social asked me to find for him. 😁

Today’s T206 mailday brings me HOF’er Eddie Collins. He’s beat up like his non related HOF Collins brethren Jimmy in my set. I’m up to 156 cards out of 520 but Eddie brings me up to 41 Hall of Famers out of 74 obtainable ones, (I’m not counting the two requiring the lottery😂)

Yesterday crossed off a big name T206 for my set build. My newest T206 HOFer is one I didn’t think I’d cross off this year. It’s one that also helps with the Tigers team set. This stunning Red Cobb joins his stellar bat on brethren. Anyone got a Green Cobb or bat off Cobb that’s just his nose up?😂

My Venezuelan Topps Kaline collection has grown in recent weeks. Today’s mailday brings me to 8/14 Venny’s he’s tied to and 3 of the remaining are team cards. So 5 of them won’t be bad $ wise but the 6th is the 64 Bombers and there’s 2 Yankee power guys on it that make it $$$😂 #cardsky

I’ve got some low grade double vision after today’s mail arrived. My newest T206 addition is the dark cap variation of HOF’er Christy Mathewson. This one’s awesome as it’s a polar bear back. Those backs are one of my favorites! He pairs nicely with his white cap brethren. #cardSky

Been a year since I’ve purchased a T206 HOFer for my build, I was overdue😁. Couldn’t pass up a cheap price on a slabbed HOFer. This is card #120 for the set. It will not be my final HOFer of the year. The coming weeks will have a lot of PC additions and a 1936 HOF inductee😏🐻‍❄️

Not too often is a raw card of a HOF RC an upgrade over a PSA 3 RC, but my pickup at a show today was one of those instances. Some guy scribbled on it though, but it goes along with some of the other Kaline’s I’ve got that were scribbled on as well😁 #cardSky

Thanksgiving arrived a little late this year. I’ve loved this image since I started building the Tigers T206 team set and decided to do a side project and get other versions of this image. It’s been awhile since I’ve picked up a T206 for the build and I’m really happy with this one. It’s got character like most of the others I’ve got but when a super cheap Southern Leaguer pops up on eBay, you have to hit BIN. Happy to add my second Southern Leaguer to the build. #cardsky

Today’s mailday brings me my third Venezuelan Topps Al Kaline card with this 1967 Topps. I didn’t plan on my T206 pickups taking a break but I couldn’t pass up some of these recent giveaways of these rarer cards😂. Happy to pick away at the Venny Kaline run. #cardsky

My card show ventures usually result in Riley Greene cards for my daughter. But today I actually found stuff for myself. Picked up five more T206’s for the set build, bringing me up to 95 cards. A long way still to 520. I also purchased a signed 71 Topps card of Mr Tiger Al Kaline. #cardsky
