My friend got re-interested in Magic when I mentioned you could play on Spelltable, because he didn't want to go to an LGS. He was going to buy a set of pre-cons, but was balking at the price. We were at the mall yesterday, and my daughter wanted to go into a business/formal attire store. I was like cool, we lookin'. How excited she got when she saw the dresses was crazy. She's a bit tomboyish, so seeing that sparkle in her eye when she was looking at pretty dresses was aces.

I was busy on Sunday, so I finally watched the Bad Bunny half-time show. Mannnn, that was CRAZY good. So many memories of the island flooded back. Saving Canada for last on the shoutout felt great. The piece of my heart that belongs to Puerto Rico was SO happy to see all of that. 🇵🇷 🇨🇦

In my favourite game this weekend, I won by Touchdown! on Superbowl Sunday. With Breena as the commander, a bird. It's now canon I helped the Seahawks win. I was also playing my friends, @steelcitymtg.bsky.social so that made it all the more special.

Spotlight Series was fantastic. I went 1-2 and 1-4 with Jolene, which is a 25% winrate. I went for wins in all but 2 games. So I'm happy with that result, especially for such an off-meta deck. I went 1-2 in Pauper and then dropped. I didn't get enough practice and I wanted to stop thinking.
