Got back from Urgent Care to learn that this soreness in the right side of my face was a stone in my salivary gland. Thankfully, the doctor who found said it it didn't look infected, and with time, antibiotics, and sour candy to help with saliva buildup to push it out, I should be alright.

Alright, I'm now done with doctor visits, and today was my last day of physical therapy. Regarding my arm, I am pretty much completely in the clear now.

Physical therapy has been going well, I got a list of exercises to do at home, & the physicians I saw said my range of motion already looked pretty good as it stands. So much so, that I can probably take the sling off on Saturday, a few days early. It almost feels like I never even slipped at all.

Got some new X-rays taken care of at the orthopedist today, and they looked the same as the last ones I did, so that's good to see, nothing has changed for the worse.

Orthopedist appointment went well, new X-rays they did showed the faintest of faint cracks in my humerus. From what my grandfather said, there's no need for surgery, medication, or anything like that for something this light. Which is the best case scenario, regarding things like first broken bones

While I was out getting a haircut, mom got a call back from Urgent Care. The doctor who saw me apparently overlooked something, and they found a fracture in my humerus bone. Thankfully, it's a minor fracture, since I'm not screaming in pain anymore.

Slipped on some slush & mud Wednesday, when bringing our trash cans back around, & I've been dealing with soreness in my left arm since. Which is a problem, seeing as I'm left-handed. Just came back from my local Urgent Care, with my arm in a sling.

Well this is certainly a nice bit of news to wake up to on my birthday.

April 30th is apparently a really good day, when it comes to celebrating the deaths of bad people. Like, when I figured out this connection last year, and shared it with my siblings, it was a real bit of bittersweet, dark humor.

The thing that really gets to me is how there are people saying that characters like Ashley and Geno would be totally unrecognizable to casual players, as if any of them are familiar with some of the current choices as it is. It's like the Trump Kool-Aid of online Mario discussion, just so stupid.

If they weren't going to put in actual WarioWare characters, this would have been the very least they could do. It should have been so obvious.

Out of all the wedding plots from various Mario RPGs, this one is hands down my favorite, since you get to actually help officiate it, rather than stop it from happening. So I like to think of it as having helped prep me for my oldest sister's wedding tomorrow.

Just now finished my first playthrough of Brothership, and like... Damn. Super Mario RPG and Thousand Year Door were phenomenal remakes, for sure, but it was nice getting an entirely new adventure and story to play on Switch, I was absolutely entranced from start to finish. I. Adored. This. Game.

Got Brothership for my birthday today. Seeing these three together side by side, I am not afraid to say that the Switch might just be my overall favorite Nintendo console, just for bringing these 3 pillars together under one roof.
