The algorithming of Reddit has gotten pretty bad. I notice these days how often it’s feeding me anti-immigration posts from 5 days ago and other miserable shit. It’s in this doomscrolling format that reminds me of twitter. There’s going to be an exodus sooner or later.

Politicians love to warn that the other side has a radical agenda. Yet, they don't seem too concerned that first past the post means they can win a majority with less than 40% of the vote. Fear alone will not fix democracy. Proportional representation will.
