I know it’s hard to create when the world is burning. But art has always been the people’s rebellion, and it still is. Don’t stop creating.

Other than “bury your gays,” the trope I loathe is “last-minute gay.” The reveal tossed in at the end, oh, surprise, they’ve been Queer all along! That’s why I write stories where Queer people never have to wonder, “Is this character Queer?” They are. In my books, Queer is normal from the start.

I've been practicing new pronouns in safe spaces, and slowly adding preferred pronouns to my socials, quietly. Even though I'm Queer AF. There's still fear of rejections from my community. I'm working on me, y'all. I'm working.
