No clue what destroyed me last night, but my belly felt like sometimes it had razor blades in it & other times it had a big ole rock in there. Felt like I was gonna hurl, but didn't. Had a fever for maybe 12 hours. Feeling better today, just way tired, plus a headache. Hope to get sleep tonight!

We rescued three people and a dog today (saw the two guys paddling and knew something was wrong). Towed them to their dock, then headed up the lake. Saw my dragon!

Tonight I have spilled just about anything I possibly could on me, but I give zero fucks because my dress is multi colored, my shirt is bleachable, and I had a Modela Chelada with my bacon cheeseburger while floatin on the water. Tremendous Friday evening.

Bought arugula yesterday. Cleaned out the fridge for dinner tonight. Holybrazolli, sofa king good. Letfover shrimp, chick peas, smokehouse almonds, hard boiled egg, widdle tomatoes, baby cucumber artichoke hearts, drizzle of Meyer lemon olive oil, and a wee bit of balsamic glaze.

Looking at locations for our short anniversary trip and see a lil tavern in a small town we could potentially stay in. The tavern seems super awesome. Went to find their website and it is "nocoorslight.com" so yes, I am laughing.

After many margaritas, there was a big chair. And ice cream by a fire. Meteorological fall rocks.

Woke up angled in bed. Major always sleeps to my right, between me and Al. This morning, he was on my left. His head was in the center of the bed, but his back foot was hanging off the edge. This dog is hilarious. Happy September!

Last Sunday, I went to the PGH zoo. Made me wildly happy to see Victoria, even if I didn't get to see all of her. Back on New Year's Day 2000, I met baby Victoria. She came out from under the bars and took my hat, playing with me for what seemed like forever. Truly special. #ThenNow

As much as I want to be, I am not a great cook. Certain things are better than others. Maybe that is why I get ridiculously happy when I can crack eggs with only one hand. (Major doesn't care how many hands I use, just so long as he gets one.)

Major update: As of this morning, CVS says it's decided it can offer the vax in 13 of the 16 states IF you get a prescription. Still a big new barrier for many people, but a change from its "no vaccines at all in these states" position yesterday. The three remaining absolute-nos are MA, NV and NM.
