Sometimes I'll hold things like a video game character, like my hands have shitty hitboxes. I'll pick up a piece of paper but I won't grab it firmly, I'll let it rest between my thumb and fingers, as if to taunt the universe by debasing its meticulous order with a crude perversion of its systems.
