Yesterday we discovered that a few of my paintbrushes are made with goat hair & the cats thought it was the most interesting thing they’ve ever smelled, especially Pixel. She couldn’t get enough.

We’re halfway through our second viewing of The Mighty Nein. Not gonna lie, when I saw the trailers, I thought I would find Nott annoying. But these two wormed thier way into my heart. Can’t wait to get more Nott backstory. (I haven’t watched the campaign so no spoilers!)

Garden Unicorn 1: Fuchsia! I love fuchsia. I had one in this color. Unfortunately it didn’t survive last winter. I’d love to get another one sometime cause I think they’re gorgeous.

In between getting ready for the market this weekend, I started sketching out garden unicorn 1: Fuscia ✨

I’ve had an idea brewing in my head for a while now. I think it would be cute to make little standees that you can stick in flower pots. I wanted to make them unicorns that are flower themed. I think it would make a garden just a bit more whimsical ✨

So I thought I was feeling better the other day & then my cold went for round 2. I’ve spent the last couple days feeling like Odo when he’s been in solid form for too long. Slowly starting to feel better, thank goodness, cause I actually miss my art.

Yesterday was a mini painting kind of afternoon

Cleaning out my craft drawer, I found a forgotten pile of mini canvases! Unfortunately I caught a cold & just stared at them in a cold induced haze for hours without actually drawing anything yesterday. Feeling a bit better, so hopefully I can do some less hazy painting today.

This started as just idly playing with a scrap of clay & then turned into wanting to try flocking something. So here’s Slimey (from Seasame Street). The stripes took forever to flock but I like how he came out!
