Yesterday was a mini painting kind of afternoon

Cleaning out my craft drawer, I found a forgotten pile of mini canvases! Unfortunately I caught a cold & just stared at them in a cold induced haze for hours without actually drawing anything yesterday. Feeling a bit better, so hopefully I can do some less hazy painting today.

This started as just idly playing with a scrap of clay & then turned into wanting to try flocking something. So here’s Slimey (from Seasame Street). The stripes took forever to flock but I like how he came out!

I can tell that the holidays are over & folks are back to work cause the job app rejections have been rolling in this morning 🙃

WIP// Breaks over, I’m getting back into it! I started this at the beginning of December & then promptly set it aside to work on Christmas gifts. Time to pick it up again! I originally was going to make it another silly food themed magnet, but I’m kinda thinking it would make a fun card too.

And the award for first item sold in 2026 goes too my SG-1 Print! This one is always popular just cause you don’t find a lot of Stargate merch out there. And I love Stargate, so I felt like I have to help fill that void. Thanks for being my first sale of the year!

I got commissioned to draw someone’s friend as a ghostbuster for a Christmas gift. It’s been gifted, so I can share now. I’m really proud of how this one came out. People are always more of a challenge for me to draw.

I just one more of each of these in stock. Undecided on which I’ll restock, but even if I do, it won’t be until the new year.

So with my extra free time, I wanted to try something new: 3d sculpts of some of my characters. I spend a lot of time animating in 3d, but I haven’t really modeled in ages & it was all in Maya, so I’m currently exploring some different programs that are a bit more affordable
