I've been feeling crappy about having frizzy hair but I realized yesterday that in the last year I've had nearly 40 electrodes glued to my hair and ripped off. So now I feel less bad but I'm also embracing the need for a haircut.

Just wrapped up my second sleep test, this time it was overnight plus all morning and most of the afternoon. I got 100% on my nap test, which is a bad thing but I have to wait for an official review before I know why I'm such a sleepyhead. #brokenbrainclub

I painted this pigeon months ago but it literally melted everything when I tried a new varnish. I listened to Seth today and stayed home to paint and here's where the second version is now.

I put rotting potatoes in the ground and I got edible potatoes in 2 months. Magic is real.

This is not good for indie art supply stores. Or even medium sized ones. MacPherson was the largest distributor/supplier we had. They had a dozen+ exclusive brands that haven't figured out how to get their products into the US, mostly from Europe. Be nice to small businesses, we're doing our best.

More small art supply store blues. Entering new product from a company in Canada. Between entering product yesterday and today, I'm watching prices increase. Since their system is tied to auto-adjust for currency rate changes it just keeps going up. It's a smart system for them but oh so depressing.

Art store update after first day of our national industry trade show. Take away is that it's a great time to be an art supply hoarder because prices are going up very soon. I don't know what that will mean for us but seriously, buy stuff now!

I see people I previously considered respectable artists posting AI generated images. The excuse is they have so many ideas that this is the only way they'll be able to get all of them into the world. I feel like they missed the point of creating art, or having ideas, or just being human.
