Idk why in struggling so much about the fact that I *love* lucifer he is my favorite character.. but my abusive ex also loved lucifer (and wanted to be like him/said he was like him) and it's fucking with my head- But also my ex is NOTHING like lucifer- so? When approaching Lucifer I wanted to lean into the Fallen Angel side of him. He wasn't a bad guy, he was a dreamer who fell in love and defied an unjust system. He isn't a tyrannical evil ruler, he's a cosmic being trapped in what is considered his greatest mistake. He was beautiful and prideful!
