Had a fourth round "interview" this morning. Found out this evening I wasn't what they were looking for. Times is rough as hell.

How times have changed: roughly this time last year I bought a massive theatre spotlight because I thought I would be able to start up a stand up comedy night somewhere. I've just spotted it in the corner of my lounge's doompile and remembered it being there, unused.

Generally things are pretty rubbish all round at the moment, BUT yesterday we found out that our downstairs neighbour - the one who loves very loud music - is moving out soon.

We have spent the best part of a month jumping through the various hoops applying for universal credit because we are *really* struggling at the moment; excitingly, we just had the report of our first payment amount, which will be paid to us on the 31st of March. A grand total of £0.00. FML.

The fried egg wearable blanket is back on. 😬

I started a new job today. It's my fifth, concurrently. Life is very difficult.

She doesn't reference it in her reasoning to why they're annoying, so I explained to Chloe what men do when they find one of those things - she had never heard/witnessed this, and laughed uproariously. Just found out that Rob Grant, co-creator of Red Dwarf and my favourite author (Incompetence and Colony) passed away yesterday. Comedy legend, RIP.
