Although using AI for restoration is controversial, part of me is curious if the technology could be used to do reverse film emulation on the later Sylvester McCoy episodes of Doctor Who to make the videotaped footage look like it was shot on film, I wonder if that could be done.

The new version of EbSynth definitely makes colourisation a lot easier. Only downside is I have to pay 14 quid monthly to export the footage at its original resolution. Other than that, definitely recommend it.

Ok, but: David Tomlinson could've been a great Doctor in the late 60s/early 70s. I could even see him playing the equivalent to The Second Doctor in the Cushing films, had they carried on and somehow adapted regeneration for that version of the character.
