This is just a locally depressing weekend. We've had the sort of rain Southern AZ was needing but while most areas weathered it Globe-Miami was hammered, affecting numerous businesses and damaging art galleries and performance spaces in Miami itself. Numerous works were destroyed by water.

I finally pushed myself into getting my agoraphobic arse out to get an x-ray and labs done and promptly got rained on at the bus stop. Once on the bus the rain flooded down, so I missed my stop (I couldn't see it coming up and the driver was focused on staying on the road.) Grand tour of Bisbee, AZ.

Did a first assembly of ARTLAB2 and listening to that. Need to make a couple of adjustments, and conform everything to 24/48. Also, add tags, create a FLAC version, and get it all ready for upload. Should be done in a couple of days, then it's gig time.

I was wrong about who'd be the first one failed-to-complied -- I was expecting it to be Buffalo Upmyass, the Q Shaman. Sad. Anyway, more of these to come.

Gave a listen through to "Mutate (I)" last night and will be tweaking the middle section today because things are coming in hot hot hot....

So, yes, I had been expecting to spend the next couple of days working on the end of "Mutate (I)", which is the last piece for ARTLAB2. Unless I change my mind, that last section is going to be just two stereo tracks. Exporting the rough mix now.

So, I was pretty down earlier, contemplating the tunnelvision of others who can't see the damage done and the horrific times coming. Didn't think I could get any work done. Turns out I could, plus ideas are percolating for talking about the shit we're going through.
