My last dip into George Scharf today features the elegant home of a Mr Banfield at Upper Clapton #Hackney (1824) Would love to whether this house is still standing, or indeed who Mr Banfield was

Tram Terminus outside the Rising Sun Pub on #Woodford New Road (1915) revealing that you could have a pleasant bus ride up from #Clapton to enjoy the still semi-rural delights of #Walthamstow and #EppingForest
