Did I love Del Toro's adaptation of Frankenstein? Yes, was I dissapointed by the lack of homoerotic subtext present in the novel and so it cemented my desire to write an openly queer sort of sequel to the original novel that I began as a joke after I finished reading it? Also yes 😎
