You know I've been ignoring Overwatch 2 for a bit over two years now, and I just started playing it again today... I hate to say it but I had Fun. It also feels like a completely different game compared to when I last played it, it feels much faster and aggressive than it was before.

I've been working on this for Doom WADs - it only works with oldschool Doom wads though, not newer gzdoom format wads. Clicking the play button on the level preview loads the wad in a web port of Chocolate Doom Still a work in progress but if you wanna try it out it's here bai.dev/doom/doomscr...

Finally finished off this map. Even though this one took a whole lot of brain power to figure out the layout and level progression, this is the kind of level I find the most satisfying. Small and concise with one central area or concept, and it follows through with it without any extra fluff.

Since I reinstalled Warcraft 3, I started going through my old maps I made for it.... Some of these I have absolutely no memory of making, and they are also extremely early 2000's

Just playing some Warcraft 3 for the first time in probably over 15 years, the way GOD intended, via install CDs and manual patching. HELL YEAH. Look at ya boy getting more kills than my insane CPU ally too... damn hes good....

Man so many new Duke findings lately, I just came across an unfinished map of mine from 2001 that I completely forgot about. it's some demonic asylum apparently, but only about 10% of it is done. I like the duke yelling at the window lol

Found another weird easter egg in an old Duke map of mine, this time in research.map Tony being the name of a childhood friend I had back then. We hated each others guts sometimes so I'm guessing this was some tongue-in-cheek dig lol. I don't remember what 1 cent was supposed to mean.

Going through more ut2k4 maps, this gimmick in CBP2-Reconstruct was pretty cool. It features bridges and walls being constructed on-the-fly by nanites, from the map's own lore. Game from heckin 2004 by the way! Wonder how difficult it was implementing this feature

(2/3) ...that leads into a phenomenal voiceover by RottKing (@rottking.bsky.social) which then transitions to a screen showing the two final teams that go head to head in a CTF showdown! Really good memories, and I think some of the most fun I've had contributing to multiplayer Doom.

Started another play through of Ys Origins, and steam actually still had my data saved from the last time I played it... 12 years ago. It's also funny cause I started playing again on almost the same day as my last save

Loaded up CBP2-Koma for the first time, what a cool looking level! A big ass laser boring through the middle of a very vertical arena with great visuals and layout.

The last of my TNT-likes, this time around I didn't imitate another mapper, so it's just my take on a TNT style level.

Became aware yesterday that Doomworld played through Community Chest 3 again, and it was great seeing all the reviews of Black Rain. I never really intended for that map to be so huge, just kinda happened lol. Also damn, all those people getting trolled by my dumb BFG trap from so long ago.

Here's the last time (probably) I work on R!Zone, this time a small update that changes a few maps. Map07 got its western portion redesigned, Map04 got a swanky new soul sphere lift, and the other maps got various things. www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/...

I'll probably release the Revision 1 version of R!Zone Gold soon, either tonight or tomorrow depending on how I feel about it. Has some map changes and quality-of-life things like instant death pits in a few levels.

Oh yeah I did update the R!Zone version of Map04 with the changes I made to the kex port one. The picture to the left is the new version

aaand here's the new area converted back to R!Zone with otex textures.

This is map07 from R!Zone that I converted to the new texture set found in the new port of Doom. I ended up not submitting this level for it, but it did spur me to completely delete and re-design a chunk of the level.

With the release of the new #Doom port, I can announce that I have 3 of my deathmatch levels included with it! They're all taken from R!Zone and retextured, with some small additions here and there. It's super cool to be given this opportunity!

Finished adding a large section of level to an old deathmatch map of mine that was originally going to be for the iPhone version of Doom that eventually fell through. (or at least the deathmatch levels did). I remember John Carmack making a post on the forums about it, which was super rare.

Been going through some UT2k4 maps, it's crazy how nice some of these levels can look. This is AMDK-BusinessHall, it's pretty great looking, some of the outside buildings could maybe use some higher res textures if possible though
