It's pretty disgraceful that there has been absolutely no mention of this from the Prime Minister. It's increasingly clear that some attacks, correctly, warrant disgust, emergency measures and days of media coverage. Others seem to be met with silence.

His plan is not actually to back PR, it's to immediately hold an election under FPTP and run it as a defacto referendum on PR š£ If he wins, that means Labour breaks promises for another 5 years, if he loses (which he will), we get a Reform government 2 years early and no PR.

This was a really disappointing King's Speech from the Govt. What the country & Govt needed was a fundamental reset. One that brings about a transformative agenda to tackle the major challenges we face as a nation. This speech failed to do that.
