I’m bad at chess. Not terrible, but certainly not good. So I came up with a strategy* long ago of playing black, copying white’s moves, and then doing some random shit that confuses anyone who actually knows what they are doing. I do this because I suck at long-term strategy but excel at tactics.

I graduated from a women’s college in 1998. My mother went to a women’s school for part of her education. So I’m feeling some kind of way about 85+ Iranian girls being killed during their school day at their girl’s school by missiles from the US and Israel when *we aren’t even at war with Iran.*

So I have a friend who is disabled and has been poor for most of her life (other than a brief period where she was working 2-3 jobs at a time) and she knows all the ins and outs of the system and is really good with money and with creating a healing space in subsidized housing.

I need to work on energetic boundaries with work. So far in my massage career, physical stamina has set hard limits that were restrictive, so I hadn’t run into my energetic limits very often. Now that I’m healthier physically, I can do 4-5 table hours in a day but hit a wall the next morning.
