The MCP integration in Solo alone is worth it. It's super useful for multi-process projects. The Modal and Table packages run Vite for React and Vue builds, plus Vite + 'artisan serve' for the demo app. The agent now manages all of that without ps/grep/pkill/lsof gymnastics. soloterm.com

I think the best thing an organization could do to improve the effectiveness of Claude Code would be... Spend a few sprints using Claude to just clean up your janky codebase. Pay down your technical debt. Refactor spaghetti code. Your code is the context. Make it understandable to the LLM.

I don't think AI completely kills SaaS or clearly favors the incumbents. I think agentic coding plus some non-coding, agentic workflows will help *strong generalists* build and market *ambitious* products with very low operating expenses. They'll be able to underprice and find a market...

I really think companies need to ask themselves "Why AI?" A full day of Agentic coding can be exhausting. Reviewing LLM code can be overwhelming. It needs to make life *better* for the business and employees. Does it enable a 4 day work week? Shorter work days? Higher pay?

So are people moving away from using git worktrees + Claude Code? I live in @zed.dev + Conductor.build. Zed for deep work that needs most of my focus and then I use Conductor to fire off small hard-to-f*ck-up tasks in individual worktrees (move a button, align something, optimize a query).

5 years ago, I would have thought I'd be perfectly positioned to build a nice, profitable, lifestyle-SaaS. I'm a competent developer and have a broad (if not deep) understanding of marketing, sales, success, etc. Honestly, I was sort of banking on it. Now I'm not so sure? Still an option?
