Another major change I wanna show off is with the Iron Eagles deck being rebalanced for a more aggressive strategy, with the deck's face card being the best example for this change

Money is admittedly getting a little tight for commissioning art, but it's not a huge priority atm since we're still doing testing. Though does anybody know of a resource with royalty free art I can use? Preferably with a CC 4.0 BY SA license.

Just a reminder that as we're working on this card game, we're not really making the cards with any sort of cohesion or draftability in mind? We're not filling a set collection quota either. I'm just making premade decks and random cards to help tell a story. I hope that's not a deal breaker :(

Okay, so here's the plan Right now I'm still in the middle of developing the second deck (the Wild Boys one), and plan to do playtesting by next week. When both decks are done in the next few months (depending on funds), We'll release both decks, and over time release extra cards for fun.

Oh shit, we hit 700 followers!

You might have seen that the faces of each of the two decks we were making are both Red/Yellow & Green/Purple (more on the color pie in another post), but we actually wanna make extra cards from the other remaining colors both for fun, and to expand on the story we want to tell.

You interested in one? Cause I got that. (I sound like a drug dealer, hahaha.) But yeah, I got an open source battle card game system that anyone can freely make and sell cards for. It's called Strike Engine. If your principal concept is characters fighting, it covers that.

Today I wanna showcase an artist I recently met called @komaprince.bsky.social, who's soft style and appealing shapes were perfect for one of the cards featured in the Iron Eagle deck. Angus was adopted by old man Ox shortly after he found Murray as an infant, and he just LOVES drinking beer.

What's up, Godgrave fans. So a while back, I mentioned that my team and I were discovering a new avenue to tell the many stories centered within the heavy metal world of Godgrave. So I've partnered up with @sillyrookie.bsky.social on his own project to do just that.
