i feel like i can never get across why KH is such an obsession of mine, but when you observe it's themes, it's obvious. i have alters, and they relate intimately to Roxas. it's rare that "souls trapped in the mind of another" is the MAIN PLOT of anything, let alone the theme of an entire series.

ok so at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2, having Dearly Beloved on the off-beat during the final bout is my favorite use of a leitmotif in the series. KH2 is about people forced by circumstance into the background, who desperately crave to be seen and have influence in a world made for someone else. ⬇
