Multiple major news outlets such as the NYT, AP, and CBS news all omitted mention of that requirement in their articles describing the proposals despite having copies of it. It's infuriating. They're hiding what this administration is doing to trans people.

Don't email them - call them. Or fax them. Emails are easy to ignore, calls and faxes are not.

In particular, focus on demanding Democratic senators filibuster the bill unless this provision is removed. I certainly will not be supporting, either financially or with my vote, any Democrat who does not oppose this to the best of their ability.

This wouldn't just ban federal funds from directly funding gender-affirming care, it would be an effective ban on ANY facility that receives ANY federal funding for ANY reason from providing gender-affirming care. It's a de-facto ban. Call your congressmen.
