When I was a kid, around 1,800,000 people died every year of tuberculosis. Now, around 1,250,000 do. That's important progress. But at this current rate, it'll take a CENTURY to push TB deaths much below 500,000 per year. That's totally unacceptable for a curable, preventable disease.

This study is so informative. I learned a that there is still so much work to do to mitigate the harm that companies that sell dangerous and addictive products do. Namely speeding up the studies that prove these products are harmful… While trying not to get railroaded by billion dollar companies 😬
