2 for one. This week I beat Resident Evil Revelations as well as 5. Revelations was actually pretty fun despite having to stop every minute to use the scanner to find items. Loved all the new characters they introduced too. RE5 was alright, several major flaws that built frustration over time though

Decided to blitz through the Splatoon 1 story mode after Star Fox Guard left a bad taste. Really nice to see where the series started as someone who started with 2. I also love how particularly animalistic the bosses of this story mode was.

This might seem like such a weird nitpick but I've seen this statement claimed so many times and you can tell they haven't played the title. Master difficulty is locked by default for Obiwan and Analin. You have to beat both Jedi Campaigns to unlock it because its HARD. This game is fantastic btw.

Tonight I finished Bakeru. A 3D platformer by the creators of Mystical Ninja Goemon. I always love games that show a massive love for their culture and history and this game has it in droves. Not a super challenging platformer but knows how to make things fun and varied.

Today I finished Unbeatable. Visually this game can be a bit hard to keep up with and I felt the story and message was a bit unfocused but that's alright and I felt like it matches the tone that the devs set for it. Very good I can recommend.

Late last night I wrapped up a horror game called Hollow Cocoon. A pretty standard horror game with themes around metamorphosis and some fun bonuses. I really felt like it could've done more with the monster bc by the halfway point I had the patterns completely down.

Just finished Crow Country tonight, when it comes to classic survival horror there's very few games I've played that understood the assignment. Interesting story that didn't go the direction I thought it would, along with an atmosphere that I haven't felt since playing Darkwood and Signalis.

Been obsessed these past few days with this survival game called Smoke and Sacrifice.

I've hinted at it so much there's no point in keeping it under wraps any longer. For the longest time, I've been working on a way to port GB games to the GBA. What I ended up building is a modified GB to GBA emulator that targets a fantasy console instead - I call it the GB Bridge.

Yesterday I finished The Making of Karateka. A deep dive into a game back in the early 1980s that strove to push what games were made to do back then and aimed for a more story-based experience vs the arcade games of the time. Its wonderful how much was preserved and we need more like this.

Rolled credits today on Pokemon Legends ZA. This is what i'm talking about. They managed to turn Lumiose city into a sprawling sandbox and the combat felt like a true evolution to the series. My only complaint is that the cutscenes felt SUPER weird without voice acting, like it was missing.
