Added some UI feedback for trackpad mode. When you drag along the trackpad side of the screen, you get a larger circular cursor underneath your finger. When you press on the button side, a visible shadow appears. This feature is a work in progress and may be a bit buggy.

I've updated the startup and shutdown animations to something a bit more accurate. The Lisa's CRT does a nice fade-in effect on boot up, and a gentle fade-out effect on shutdown. If you miss the original old-school CRT animations, they can be toggled in the settings.

Working on a much needed feature:

I am also going to pull down all my Music widget type apps as well because they’re now completely incompatible with #macOSTahoe Music app. IDK why Apple decided to make these changes. I’ve been submitting feedback every beta since B1 and they’re still broke in the RC. marioaguzman.github.io/music/

@aresluna.org I watched your talk (In defense of an old pixel). I don't know if you ever played with iPod Linux or Rockbox, but you could use those to get alternate fonts on a monochrome iPod.

In the next build, you will be able to shift and rotate desktop patterns before applying them.

Upcoming changes in the next build: To beef up the desktop's view menu (as it lacks list sorting options) I added a menu item giving quick access to the desktop pattern settings. A couple of bugs have been fixed, one in the menus and one regarding time formats.

The shutdown panel now uses the user-set color palette, and buttons on it and the 404 page invert correctly. Also, a short message was added to the shutdown panel. Lastly, both pages now use the KreativeKorp Lisa "StartupFrom" font. It's the only actual font file in this entire project.

So I think the puzzle is working properly now on the latest build. If anyone still has an issue solving it, let me know.

Finally, FINALLY just got around to adjusting the tile puzzle so it shuffles by making a bunch of random valid moves instead of just shuffling a random array (which causes half the states to be unsolvable). Once I make sure this is working I'll push out a new update.

Some close friends suggested I set up a way for people to tip me, so I made a Ko-fi page. If you appreciate the work I've done and wish to show support a donation would mean a lot, but there's absolutely no pressure. LisaGUI will always be 100% free. I didn't create it for direct financial gain.

Couldn't sleep, realized I didn't actually fix a bug that exists when padding is disabled at alternate aspect ratios. I had also stupidly broken the function that determines whether to auto-disable the padding. Pushed out something that SHOULD fix it but who knows, maybe it won't. Who knows?

I'm now using Intl to determine whether the default time format should be 12-hour or 24-hour.

So I noticed the screenshots from Byte's 1983 Lisa article have what I assume is an early version of the clipboard icon. guidebookgallery.org/articles/the... Also, the trash has no label... This must be from a beta build.
