How disappointing is it when you are waiting for that last component for a project that you can’t finish it without. I now have a spot for the Nano, DFplayer, and compactor, but am waiting on a small protoboard for power distribution.

The next step on Rey's blaster is done. I have spent a crazy amount of time making it all fits and is easier to build. Now I have a place for the battery and its charger, voltage converter, and a speaker. It prints in one piece without supports. The final step is the cover.

This is getting exciting! The barrel LED's for the NN-14 blaster look like they are going to work well. The leds mount on a insert with a dovetail groove so it can slide in the barrel and is then trapped by the threaded nozzle keeping it all together. 😎

The first step is finally done! I'm adding electronics to my NN-14 blaster. Now, we have a trigger and a on/off switch. I had to get fancy with bridging. Its going to be so much more awesomer with lights and sound. Working on the LED in the barrel next!

I finally got my @protopasta iron PLA lightsaber display all rusted up and mounted on the wall next to my other one. Its a modular design so you can make it as tall as you want. It uses led strips that wrap around the inside, so its cheap and easy to make. Model Link: than.gs/m/1235065

I used some unicorn filament to make a shade for my favorite lamp. The Edison bulb I was using was to warm a white and bright for my liking. I used Hemp infused PLA from 3D Fuel. I originally purchased it for the novelty of hemp, I had no idea it was going to print so beautiful.

I forgot to turn on the built in support for the first one and I did not like the layer seam position... The second one was the wrong color and tipped over... The third one tipped over too... The fourth one was the wrong color again...🤦‍♂️ The fifth try was finally 💯.

If you are printing a collapsing sword with Prusaslicer, make sure you reduce this setting, default was 1.5mm for the XL. Otherwise retraction wont happen while printing the blades and they will fuse, no matter the clearance. Amazing the difference one check box can make...
