Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting 45 community leaders at our inaugural Civic Hub Builders Workshop! The civic hubs that subsequently form from this Workshop have the ability to re-engineer how we live, play, and work together -- ultimately empowering our communities to thrive together!

Last week we applied to the Lever for Change #thetrustinamericaninstitutionschallenge along with an incredible group of partners & #bettertogether allies, including @moreperfectunion.bsky.social @teamdemocracy.bsky.social @allsidesnow.bsky.social, all working on a network of Civic Hubs.

We are honored to be partnered with Dr. @peterlevine.bsky.social and his team at Tufts that has devised a fantastic solution to allow local initiatives like our Civic Hubs easy access to resources via their #Democracy Helpdesk! We are proud to be co-developing resources like this alongside them!

Better Together America (BTA) brings together thousands of organizations on the national and local level to support and partner with a vast network local democracy round-tables paired with a collaborative and collective funding campaign to catalyze, strengthen, and unite the pro-democracy sector.

In his recent article, "Pursuing Peace Through Politics," Caleb Christen emphasizes the importance of engaging in healthy conflict and learning to disagree better to achieve common good. True peace requires active participation and collaboration, even amidst differing viewpoints.
