This past week I pivoted from the Tim Curry memoir audiobook for a bit to listen to @maryrobinettekowal.com ‘s Apprehension and maybe it’s my recent 50th birthday talking, but I LOVE this “older” POV character so much. Also, Mary Robinette is SUCH a fantastic audiobook narrator.

As a TikTok ban looms I really wonder how our internet usage will change. There was a surprising amount of silly joy and important information contained in those short videos… and I think the parasocial aspect broadened a lot of people’s view of humanity. (And not just in an “influencer” way).
