Been helping with the art and models for a Linkle mod for Skyward Sword lately. Its slowly coming together with touch-ups and both a "Skyward Sword" styled outfit and soon the Hyrule Warriors Linkle outfit. gamebanana.com/mods/646616

A lot of these AI tools for images, text and music really only threaten the large companies themselves. They just want you as the independent to THINK it'll hurt you and your work in order to stop you from creating art better than the corporate slop they produce.

Sandfall confirmed they used Gen AI for placeholder assets. But you couldn't have known that unless you actively looked online to know whether or not they did. They apparently admitted to it in July, but no one noticed till the Larian stuff happened, Wasn't the whole point of e33 art? Funny.

I hate Generative AI, but I think some people need to recognize the difference between different types of AI tools. Not all AI tools are generative and don't require massive data centers. Some have existed for decades and were never built to replace workers.
