Sad, unacceptable, and DANGEROUS. Massive cuts to NOAA, including the Great Lakes Environmental Research Lab (GLERL) are devastating. Among the critical role it serves to the public (as @drkatfish.bsky.social mentions), GLERL was also the site of my Spotted Gar experiments for my PhD. 😢
