Oh shoot! More cargo bike fun just arrived. A set of Ortlieb Back Roller Plus Urban panniers and a set of Ortlieb Outer-Pockets. These are for my Riese & Muller Load. Rather than mounting the Outer-Pockets to the panniers, I plan on mounting them to the back of the cargo box facing the rider.

This blows. Woke up this morning to a flat tire. Looks like the valve stem separated from the tube. Maybe defective 🤔? At least this happened overnight so I have everything I need to replace it quickly. I always keep spares in my parts roll just for this reason. This is my 3rd or 4th rear flat.

Out for an afternoon ride with the wife enjoying a park that borders the old town.

Avoid purchasing new cars and even better, try to arrange your life so you do not *require* a car to live a fulfilling life.

Turns out it was time to change out my saddle. Went with a Brooks C17 in mud green. Looks sharp. I'll have better picks when it's nice out. I also rewrapped my bars with what was supposed to be the same color but it's actually light gray. I'll have to talk to Brooks about it. #brooksengland

So, I'm finally getting around to assembling my Infinite Battery system. Everything went together easily. The housings are solid and well manufactured. The plastics are ok. Assembled, the battery looks top notch. The Batteries were easy to configure using the app.

Blows my mind it hasn't even been a full year of congestion pricing in NYC yet. Years of cranks whining about it and then you just DO IT and everything is instantly better and everyone gets used to it and moves on. We should do good things more often! PS - T-minus 12 days to Streets Mayor Mamdani!
