Seems like a season in which a team or 2 from the promoted group might stay up this season. Reason being some bad PL sides + those promoted sides look like they're okay-good esp. Leeds and Burnley.

Still learning about Gyökeres. Unlike many, do not think #9 is THE priority to purchase this window but a signing on that department was a must! Age is not ideal but cost very reasonable compared to many rumoured targets. Most of all, desire to join the club very admirable!

The level of production Hale End is providing for the Arsenal 1st team these 4-5 yrs isn't getting the appreciation it deserves!

Last season was the 1st year in 6 that Alexander Isak played 30 90s (~80% of league minutes). His next best availability is 25 90s at Sociedad in 2020/21.

Probably not a better time than this for Napoli to strengthen even more with the uncertain state of the rest of Serie A & De Laurentis delivering that. Nunez & N'Doye exciting attacking names to add, very necessary too.

Next season will be interesting to see how Xabi Alonso uses TAA after observing how he used a completely different profile in Frimpong around that right sided position, and also how Frimpong's signing could mean for TAA-moulded L'pool right side of the last 5-6+ years.

The team is coached to a T! Progress in every game if you see closely, ofc bumps on the road. What this side lacks is that stardust Jesus showed the whole 2nd half in a consistent basis, to aid the superstar in Bukayo & the orchestrator Ødegaard. That's about talent, I'm afraid.

It's all about recruitment at the end. Massive credit for Slot to stamp his identity v.early to a big success but also fair to say Klopp left him with a superb, young-enough quality squad. Man City's only good signings since 2021 are Haaland, Akanji & maybe Gvardiol? It's poor.

There was a moment few minutes before 25' where Bissouma won unfavourable 50/50 b/n 2 City players,lost it in running at a place where was close for 3 consecutive City players & then Sarr, Sarr won not 1 but 3 duels he had no right to win to release a counter. Indicative. #MCITOT

Alex Iwobi... BIG fan for long time! Always been a fantastic progressive passer throughout his career, he added massive numbers of progressive carries & pass receives this season making him among a group of v.few players. On top of really nice underlying attacking output in the final 1/3, too.

Years ago, I remember reading about how Arteta had been working with Raheem Sterling to help improve his shot locations as a wide forward in Pep's system. I had never really looked at Jeremy Doku's output at Man City before, but this seems like a problem.
