I’ve seen some of the people both on X/Twitter and here on Bluesky who claim to “fight the far-Right or have “Anti-Far-Right” in their Bio etc.. It’s obvious it’s little more than some kind of identity/social media street cred for a some of them.

Problem is also, a particular brand of people like the idea of “fighting the Far-Right, but don’t have a clue on actually how to do it, or use it as a basis of their identity (Being anti-far right), they have no interest in pushing back the Far-Right, jus to be “seen fighting it”

Certainly why I was torn into. History proved my reads right more often than not. But because I wasn't telling people they were wonderful geniuses who could sit and watch the far right defeat themselves, few wanted to hear it. That's not resistance, it's burying your head in the sand.

Seeing Dunt promise the British far right will soon be at each other's throats reminds me he was one of the first voices I listened to in 2016 and how many false promises he's peddled. I eventually realised there's a whole market for lying to self righteous yuppies who want to think they're safe.
