i really like this image of a "castle in the sky" from one of our cancelled projects, wyrmheim, where atmospheric changes would turn the teslagrad 2 "crude material" to gold and emerald-like substances with altitude

Basically aiming for "mighty morphin' power rangers" simplicity for the main read of our villains in this game, but hoping i'll be able to add enough quirks and nuance beyond their main layer to make them memorable

Been snapping some new Knuckle Jet dev screenshots, even when playing at 5% speed it's pretty rare for everything to line into something that reads nicely in a single frame

a trick to reduce the polycount of gears, made a pbr material with alpha cutout and layered 3 quads to fake depth (yes i know they're not touching each other, was just doing a quick test in engine)

some VERY early Knuckle Jet footage from a prototype made almost exactly 2 years ago. went a bit too heavy on the impact effect bloom there

As a personal side project, I have been writing a Teslagrad based tabletop roleplaying game. I was making boardgame and RPG rules long before I ended up in the games industry 15 years ago, so for me this is a return to things I have loved for a long time.
