You remember Greenlight? A bit of a fun fact of the day. Teslagrad was on greenlight. We got skipped over for 3 games that had less votes than us on a release, leaving us with many times more votes than anyone else for what ended up being the longest gap between releases.

Concept art is a bit of a loose term. A lot of it gets made during the course of production. But here are some images that we made before we started drawing anything for Teslagrad. The main character looks quite different.

We have shown some older prototypes of Teslagrad before, but the VERY first grey box prototype was this. And this was not just one level of it. This was the entire thing. It was enough to show us that magnets are indeed fun :-D

Blast from the ancient past. We started Rain in 2010. Before that, we were part of an organization called Idesmien. This group had lots of people come trough it, including Simon and Jo-remi from Dpad Studio. in 2008 we started a bit on a sandbox space game inspired by Privateer and Elite.

If you haven't see Vikings on Trampolines from @dpad.studio yet, you should for sure look up a trailer and have a look. It is awesome. The game is something they have had in the works for a LOOONG time. So long, in fact, that @pokepetter.bsky.social here at Rain put a homage into Teslagrad 1!

Our friends at Snowleaf have made a BlueSky account too now! They are a brand new Norwegian game studio, making their first game. But take a look at this video and tell me whether you still believe me on the fact that they have not made anything before.
