My controversial take is that K. Rool shouldn’t be in any Mario sports games (it would feel cheap after Bananza made him something of an apocalyptic threat), but if you had to… well, Camelot is the studio who invented Waluigi and revived Daisy. Let’s finally meet his wife.

Since getting a Switch 2 nearly seven months ago, I’ve taken 7,231 screenshots. 6,294 of them are from Donkey Kong Bananza. 39 of them are just different angles of K. Rool’s KAOS Mark II backpack.

yeah the idea that Bananza is this "sideshow" one-and-done baffles me to no end There was a time when DK could stand with Mario as a major system seller. Now we got Ninty basically saying they wanna do that again and for some reason a couple of folks are against that? what???

One of the odd misconceptions about Donkey Kong Bananza's existence is this notion that it's a one-off, that Nintendo made it a Donkey Kong game by arbitrarily drawing the name out of a hat, and that it's not part of a multi-year strategy to reestablish the brand between the park and movie.
