OK so my father in law tuned and raced vintage cars at Bonneville (still holds a speed record, I think). Some old school young dudes purchased his record setting car “Tubby”, a 1949 Hudson (Doc from the Cars movie) and check out how they are transporting Tubby. A+ paintjob on the tow-rig!

Funny as we were playing the original Nemesis game just yesterday and talking about buying the new one. If y’all aren’t familiar : the design of the (original) game is simply brilliant. I am amazed at its complexity and how engaging it is to play every time we play it.

So we had some excitement today when some well meaning dipshit snatched our ancient cat and drove him off to the animal shelter….who identified him immediately as someone’s cat and directed the dipshits to post these posters and knock on some doors. All is well and Laserbeam is back home safe!

Speaking of the 2001 Pontarlie stage @antmccrossan.bsky.social It’s important to note that the field, although outside the time limit, was still faster than the fastest estimated time for the stage that day, ie the wind conditions and race action conspired to make an absurdly fast stage.

Now this is a good thing to see to start a weekend! Beautiful.

So we played a big game of Wastelands Delivery last night…the usual excellent scrum at the start featured a nice T-bone smash from Sweet Tooth

So the Tour commentary by @antmccrossan.bsky.social and Nico Roche is really the best, and I mean that literally, ie I’ve been a junkie for watching the Tour for 4 decades. One suggestion: when the commissars make controversial decision, it would be helpful for y’all to explain a bit the next day.
