@sidisi.bsky.social I feel like Discover Hunter is not only a success story as a new deck archetype, but also as a deck with various pieces. Cards like Naielle and Niri might be important to the deck, but are still not essential in the way Sif or Owlonius are.

Board game idea: an uno retheme where the cards are all the same number, called Lazy Eights

@sidisi.bsky.social One thing I haven't figured out yet is Niri + Untimely Death. This could be a way to stick Niri, but if I'm running lots of 1 cost cards, I just want to play no hand hunter instead. If I try to add it into a deck with a higher curve, it's not consistent enough/ worth it

@sidisi.bsky.social Here is my current quest deck with a beasts top end. May not stand up to Warrior or DK control but is respectable when I play it. No trick with the higher cost beasts -- I play them on curve (hopefully after being buffed with dinomancy)

@sidisi.bsky.social I will say when I played discover hunter the first few times, I was like "I'm not prepared" -- it took a few games for me to get used to making that many decisions a turn. It's exciting to have that kind of value
