Did you know? When empty, our H145 helicopters weigh approximately 2 tonnes, the same as a white Rhinoceros. Once fully loaded with equipment, crew, fuel and a patient, the aircraft can weigh a maximum of 3700kgs or 3.7 tonnes!

We're attending the Teen Tech Festival today! We're working with our medical partners EMRTS - providing STEM activities for year groups 5 to 9. We’ll be giving students an opportunity to inflate lungs on a dummy, and using ultrasound to find items in jelly moulds!

What's behind door number 3 in our Wales Air Ambulance #adventcalendar? It's our lifesaving rapid response vehicle (RRV)! Our RRVs carry the same pioneering equipment as our helicopters, taking the emergency department directly to the patient, when they need it most.

There are many ways to support our charity on #givingtuesday ✨ You can play our lifesaving lottery, volunteer, fundraise, leave a gift in your Will, and share our stories to spread awareness of our lifesaving work. However you choose to support us, it makes a lifesaving difference. Thank you.
