It's lovely that Nelson George, Common, Julius Erving, and everyone else didn't demand to be removed from the project after learning I'd be sharing time with them in the preview. I'm at the :55 mark.

50 years ago tonight, on Dec. 26, 1975, the Nets' Julius Erving scored 27 points to get to within six points of 10,000 career ABA points. New York beat St. Louis 105-101 at the Nassau Coliseum that night. He got them the next night in Denver.

1969 - The Phoenix Suns were brand spankin' new. My oldest brother forced (crammed) basketball upon the entire fam'. I loathed it tbh. Nonetheless, basketball (Suns Basketball namely) grew on me and with me. The rest is hoop addict history. Go Suns π

With Christmas approaching, let's spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves. In 1969, Pacers took part in the Toys for Tots program. This involved asking fans to bring new or gently used toys to games and drop them off in a large box.

The older ones will say Bill Russell, others will say Michael Jordan, the younger ones will say Lebron James, everyone has their own definition of G.O.A.T π For me, it's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for everything he has contributed on and off the basketball court.

"If we get Bill Walton, we're gonna be three times the team we were this year... He clogs up the middle, he's a great shot blocker. He can shoot and pass. He could give Robert some rest. When he's feeling good, there's nobody better than Bill Walton."
