We are excited to welcome Andrew Welchman as a Professor of Neuroinnovation and new Head of School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham. Andrew served as faculty at our School from 2005 to 2013 and later worked at the University of Cambridge, Wellcome Trust, Prodromic, and ieso.

Our new study shows that accelerated long-term forgetting occurs more often in stroke patients than in age-matched controls. After one week, 35% showed marked forgetting despite normal recall after 30 min. Important for neuropsychological diagnostics. Open access: doi.org/10.1111/jnp....
