Oh also: Sanemi hates white elephant because he sees it as wasteful. He brings something basic and practical that anyone would be fine getting like a reusable grocery bag so it isn't thrown out Giyuu comes with something very funny and fitting and no one guesses it was his (Tsutako helped )

I think Kyojuro doesn't really get the idea of a gag gift, but what he selects is either kind of tacky or way too practical so everyone assumes it was a gag anyways He shows up with a weird desk decoration from the ¥100 store or a bag of soba noodles and everyone assumes it's a joke (it is not)

Tengen would bring his own art, but it would either be something either likely to explode in you or something weird like the John Oliver featured furry mouse porn Kyojuro would bring something practical like a new wok Obanai brings a gift, but it is clearly for Mitsuri and no one dares take it

The Rengoku's always get the biggest KFC order they can (sometimes 2) for Christmas bc Kyojuro and Shinjuro could eat a whole one easy with just the 2 of them lol They have a huge Christmas tree that Kyojuro and Senjuro decorate with Ruka, and Shinjuro drinks lots of eggnog (〃´ω`〃)

Giyuu doesn't like fast food like this but he'd want to make sure Sanemi's siblings got the whole experience. He'd deposit an extra ¥50000 into the account for their shared expenses on December 1 then start broadly hinting Sanemi should place an order for them to bring over on Christmas Eve

I think Shinjuro would act like he didn't care but ends up surprising his family in a santa costume. He also struggles with the decorations and gets tangled up in the christmas lights

Personally I am very fond the the 💎⚡️thought of Tengen doing all the KFC ordering and picking out a nice Christmas cake and bringing it over to celebrate with Jigoro and Kaigaku. I feel like Jigoro struggled financially to support his two foster kids and Christmas wasn’t a big thing otherwise.
