It's a damn shame how often I get interested in a book based solely on the description or pitch only to realize that the cover or some accompanying promo "art" is all genai. Every author that does this I'm adding to my personal "do not buy" list.

Our contracts clearly state this is not okay. No Shortwave book contains any AI writing (or design or editing or anything) that we're aware of, and if we ever became aware of it, we would pull that work.

Sharing work in progress has always been an important value to me. Showing more than just the final and often intimidating finished image. It's been with the hope to motivate and inspire, or fun. After years doing so, it's extremely rewarding hearing how I have for some of y'all! Thank you, really
