You'd think that after all this time I'd be used to the ending music for Star Fox 64 that I could listen to it without ugly crying but apparently not. The nostalgia tied to it is bittersweet and it breaks me without fail

I like to think I know my way around this game reasonably well. Excellent remake over all even if some of the challenges were genuinely awful. Only gripe aside from that is that more than three battle mode maps would be nice

Has anyone out there managed the "Collect 6 bombs" challenge on Solar in Star Fox? I have done runs of this level where I've taken out pretty much every single enemy and it just never spawns enough to complete the challenge. Really hate it when the condition seems to be randomised like that

The original on the Mega Drive has such a good sound track for the time. I've always been kind of surprised that I've never really heard any modernised versions of them (which is something I intend to fix personally eventually)

Okay... I hope we're not veering into Star Fox spoiler territory here but I think the new game isn't inherently easier. I think the camera is helping more than they ever intended. Suddenly stuff which would go off screen before has a wider margine for error and it makes medals WAY easier
