Today is PoTS Awareness day - a day aimed at raising awareness about postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (PoTS), an under-recognised and debilitating condition. which many people with ME/CFS have. PoTS is a form of dysautonomia (condition affecting the autonomic nervous system).

If people are hungry, you feed them. If they are homeless, you house them. If they’re sick, you give them medical care. If they’re cold, you give them clothes. It isn’t hard. Far too many people are more than happy to sit in judgement of others rather than helping.

Anyone can become disabled. Anyone can lose their job. Anyone can become homeless. Anyone can go hungry. These are not moral failings. They can happen in an instant. Most people are far closer to living in poverty than they realize. We must fight for one another & for the most vulnerable.
