The Undesirables: A History of Rockhead Prison is the revealing story of Rockhead an imposing structure that was located on Gottingen and Leeds Streets in Halifax. With the words "City Prison" glaring down at whoever walked by, the edifice stood as warning to those thinking of committing crimes.

Pottersfeld Press is looking for submissions from writers who can provide a manuscript of 30,000 to 150,000 words in any existing or new category that uses the nonfiction medium to tell a story. DEADLINE IS APRIL 30, 2026. Early submissions are encouraged. More info at: www.pottersfieldpress.com
