Delighted we can support
@ojcollective.bsky.social
- driver is to bring more equity into the system to enable OA publishing not only for our authors but also for researchers wherever they are without an APC model putting up barriers.

Tom Morley: embedding diamond
#OpenAccess
as part of a wider values-led approach allowed Lancaster to embed an open research culture strategy. This also addresses the crisis in HE funding - we must invest in new alternatives now. University leaders need to listen to their libraries on this

Are you working with research outputs that don't quite fit in - often perceived as OTHER - or supporting those who do? Would you like to join an international conversation to improve the infrastructural landscape to better meet the needs of these communities?

The answer to "How could we get you to do more Open Research?" Answer was "You telling us to!" - but also giving permission to do what works in their field Yes! I talk lots about specific guidance being incredibly helpful!

Library/info people (worldwide)-do you know of upcoming conferences that I don’t have on the list? Especially with hashtags (& please encourage conference organisers to set one!). There’s been good BlueSky live posting from many events in the last year, it would be great to continue & develop this 📚

Emphasis on citations as value (actual and as proxy) has negative impact on publication volume and therefore retractions - encourages poor practice.
