Really wish we would have something like those 2000s manga styled tributes again there was a good balance between tributes of manga work and tokusatsu work done by Shotaro Ishinomori during that time period

Ishinomori characters like Pyunma and Sonny were depicted as blackface originally but even in those depictions they never personalized with genuine malice and felt like actual characters in contrast to Tezuka mangas

Rest in peace Kazuki "Mototin" Motoyama the artist of the Super Mario mangas for Kodansha (KC Mario) i always was huge fan of his erratic and wild art style so this was very hard to process

Eggeman's style i liked this principle with 1930-early 1931 Fleischer shorts where the designs don't have to have big white gloves and pie-eyes that would more of the staple later on here you could animate a crude drawing even if its not the style as long as its a funny animal
